Robertha Jurado – Managing Partner
With more than eighteen years of experience in foreign investment law and registration procedures, Robertha is a fluently bilingual corporate lawyer who works with developers and real estate agents to coordinate closings for Mexican corporations and Mexican trusts (fideicomisos) and facilitate the use of escrow accounts and notary property services.
Originally from Mexico City, Robertha obtained her law degree at Universidad Humanitas, Campus Cancun. While obtaining her degree, she began her legal work with a practice specializing in real estate, property regulation, and taxation.
As managing partner with Guardian Real Estate Closing Services, Robertha takes pride in facilitating a smooth closing process for buyers and sellers and offers advice on legal and financial matters, tax services, property management, insurance, and maintenance for acquisition purposes.
Katia Lizeth Canul Cruz – Attorney, Real Estate Closing Services
Katia is an experienced real estate attorney advising clients throughout the process of acquiring real estate all over Mexico, particularly in the Riviera Maya area. She has handled a large volume of real estate closings. She has a vast knowledge of corporate law, including the incorporation of Mexican companies, contract preparation, Mexican trusts (fideicomisos), and due diligence investigation. Katia has also participated in real estate broker training sessions on compliance with Mexican law on real estate transactions.
A native of Quintana Roo, Katia obtained her law degree from Quintana Roo State University (Universidad Estatal de Quintana Roo) and has since focused her career on leveraging her local relationships to assist Mexican and foreign clients in Spanish and English.
Natalia Catalina Gutierrez Valles – Attorney, Real Estate Closing Services
Having experience in the Real Estate Market and its law and legal processes before governmental institutions, Natalia will gladly and professionally guide you through the legal process of purchasing or selling your home in Mexico.
